Sprout Kitchen set out to make healthy eating easier - offering fresh, pre-prepared meals for people who want quality without compromise. As a new concept entering Eugene’s competitive food scene, the founders needed a brand that could immediately communicate freshness, simplicity, and energy while standing apart from the typical “green and leafy” health food aesthetic.
Collaborating with interior designer Mike Hopper, we developed a bold identity system that merged with the interior environment to create a cohesive, high-impact brand experience. The process involved exploring multiple visual directions before arriving at a mark inspired by Sprout’s ready-made offerings - instantly recognizable. Every design decision reinforced the restaurant’s positioning: approachable, modern, and healthy without being self-serious.
The final identity helped Sprout Kitchen establish a memorable presence from day one - both visually and experientially. The cohesive brand experience across packaging, signage, and environment created instant recognition and helped the start-up carve out its place in Eugene’s fast-casual landscape.
