Sabine Draw is a woman-owned and operated general contractor based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Its founder spent years at large construction firms doing industrial and mission-critical work, and saw a gap between how industrial projects are planned and how commercial projects usually are. She started Sabine Draw to bring industrial-grade planning, quality control, and field discipline into commercial construction across Louisiana, Texas, and the Gulf Coast. Its target work includes data centers and industrial facilities, where schedules are tight and downtime isn't an option.

‍

The company was new. The people weren't.

‍

The leadership team brought more than 100 years of combined experience, with backgrounds at firms like JE Dunn, Performance Contractors, and Bronco Industrial. What they didn't have was a portfolio. The founder was already in early conversations on several projects and needed something she could point owners and general contractors to that showed the company was real, organized, and ready.

‍

She found Fairbuilt through ChatGPT and originally brought us on for the website. She had started the identity with another provider and gone through several rounds without landing on something that felt like the company. A few weeks into our work, we took on the brand as well and ran both in parallel.

‍

We don't typically take on start-ups. We make an exception when a founder brings deep field experience and a clear desire for strong positioning. Sabine Draw had both. This project combined Construction Branding with Construction Web Design to give a new company the credibility its people had already earned.

Our Approach

Every project starts with strategy. This one moved quickly because the founder arrived with a clear picture of the company. Our job was to put it into words and build everything else on top of it.

‍

Commercial meets industrial. Sabine Draw sits between two kinds of construction and takes the discipline of one into the other. That idea shaped the name story, the identity, and the site messaging.

‍

The people are the proof. A new contractor can't lead with projects, so the brand leads with experience, capacity, and what past partners say about the team.

‍

Room to grow. The company plans to self-perform more of its own work over time and add divisions as it does. Nothing in the brand or site could box that in.

‍

The name carries the story. The Sabine River forms the border between Texas, where the founder grew up, and Louisiana, where she lives and works now. A draw is a landform where two slopes meet and form a shallow valley. The identity takes its form from the curves of the river and is built as a system, not a single logo, so it can flex across trucks, signage, and site documents as the company adds them.

‍

Rather than leaning on heavy type and safety colors, the identity uses a refined palette of Beige and Green, with Orange as an accent that nods to the jobsite. The typeface is a clean sans-serif with a slight texture, reads as crafted without leaning into a rustic, craftsman look.

‍

The website is a foundation, built to grow with the firm. It states the position, shows the qualifications, and introduces the leadership team. The structure is already set up for the service, project, and location pages a large contractor site depends on, so the company can add them as the work comes in without a rebuild.

The Outcome

Sabine Draw now has a brand and website that match the experience of the people behind it. The founder has something to send owners, general contractors, and partners that shows the company is legitimate before it has a portfolio to show.

‍

The brand and website came together in just under six weeks. That pace came from the founder's clarity going in, not from skipped steps.

‍

What Changed

  • A company with no public presence now has a brand and website that hold up when owners and general contractors look it up
  • The founder has a clear proof point to send during early project conversations
  • The site presents 100+ years of combined experience, $200M in annual project capacity, and a full leadership team in place of a portfolio
  • The identity is built as a system that can extend to trucks, signage, and new divisions as the company grows
  • The website structure is ready for service, project, and location pages without a rebuild
