The Project

Northwest Pool & Spa is a well-established provider of luxury pool construction, spa installations, and outdoor living environments based in Eugene, Oregon. While their reputation for quality craftsmanship remained strong, their digital presence had not kept pace with the level of work they were delivering.

Their previous website had not been updated in over a decade. Over time, it became misaligned with the expectations of their target clientele and no longer communicated the premium nature of their projects. This disconnect contributed to a noticeable decline in website traffic and reduced inquiry quality.

At the same time, the company had expanded its offerings to include a curated showroom of outdoor furniture and decor, further broadening the scope of what needed to be clearly communicated online.

The goal of this project was to rebuild the website from the ground up to better reflect the company's positioning in the high-end residential market and improve how potential clients engage with their services.

This project sits within the broader category of Construction Company Web Design, where clarity, trust, and presentation directly influence lead quality.

Our Approach

We began by identifying the gap between perception and reality.

Northwest Pool & Spa was delivering high-quality, custom outdoor environments, but the existing website did not reflect that level of craftsmanship or sophistication. The new digital experience needed to bridge that gap immediately.

The website strategy focused on three priorities:

Elevating project presentation. We restructured how completed work was showcased, placing greater emphasis on visual storytelling and project clarity to better communicate the scale and quality of their pool and spa installations.

Clarifying service offerings. The site was designed to clearly differentiate between custom pool construction, spa installations, and the in-person showroom experience, making it easier for users to understand the full scope of the business.

Aligning brand perception with market positioning. The visual design and content strategy were developed to match the expectations of high-end residential clients who value craftsmanship, detail, and professionalism.

As a studio specializing in Website Design for Contractors and AEC Web Design, we approach these projects with a focus on business outcomes, not just visual improvement. The goal is always to ensure the website accurately represents the level of work being delivered in the field.

The Outcome

The updated website now reflects the premium quality of Northwest Pool & Spa’s work and provides a more accurate representation of the services they offer.

It creates a clearer, more engaging experience for prospective clients and better supports the company’s position within the high-end residential construction market in Oregon. The improved structure and visual presentation help attract more qualified inquiries while filtering out lower-intent traffic.

As a returning client, Northwest Pool & Spa’s continued partnership also demonstrates the long-term value of maintaining a consistent brand and digital presence across multiple business lines. The work completed here builds on previous branding efforts and reinforces a cohesive identity across their broader company portfolio.

What Changed

  • The site moved from a decade-old design misaligned with the premium positioning of the business to a conversion-focused experience built for the clients they actually wanted to attract
  • Inquiry quality improved as the new site communicated the firm's premium positioning clearly — prospective clients who reached out were better matched to the service level and investment the company provides
  • The website addressed the noticeable decline in inquiry quality the team had observed before the project, a decline tied directly to the gap between how the business operated and how the site presented it
  • The new design gave the sales team a digital presence they could confidently send prospects to, rather than one they had to apologize for or supplement with additional explanation

This project demonstrates how Web Design for Construction Companies plays a critical role in maintaining market position, especially for businesses operating in luxury residential sectors where presentation directly influences perception and trust.
