Looking Back at 2024: Projects, Pivots, and What’s Next

Happy 2025.

Before diving headfirst into the new year, I wanted to take a second to reflect on what 2024 looked like here at the studio—and where things are heading next.

By the Numbers
In 2024, I took on around 25 new projects. That doesn’t include ongoing client work—just fresh, full-scope jobs. The work spanned:

That kind of variety is what keeps things interesting. Each project brought its own challenges and learning moments, which I’m always here for.

What Didn’t Work (and What I’m Changing)
I sent out 34 proposals that didn’t land. That stat alone pushed me to redesign my proposal process for 2025—everything from how it’s presented to how it aligns with my pricing and positioning.

One of the bigger takeaways from the year:

So, for 2025, I’m shifting the strategy:

Growth is always a little intimidating, but it’s also where the excitement lives. Here’s to learning, adjusting, and Building Fairbuilt.

Fairbuilt Design Studio is a perpetual work in progress—and I’m sharing as we go. Here’s the work, here’s how to connect, and I’m over on Instagram, Youtube, and LinkedIn too.
